A Daughter's Destiny will spark the imagination of the reader so vividly that the words are lifted from the pages and a picture is painted within the heart. Thank you, Anita, for following your God-given dream and pressing your way to your destiny. This book is a true testimony and an inspiration to the masses of women who will choose to persevere in spite of.

Definitely a must read! Anita Carmen shares her family's life experiences so vividly, you can't help but feel like you were there! You may even find parts of your story in this book or may be able to relate in some ways! Either way, God's redemption is available! Deliverance from your own issues will take place while reading this book, as you will see that, if God did it for Carmen, He can surely do it for you! Reading this book reminded me of that moment in 2004 when I went to the first Inspire Women conference and told my husband "I want to be a part of that ministry. I want to go to a Christian college but I know we can't afford it." I believed in God and enrolled anyway. After 1 semester, the phone rang and it was Anita herself asking if I would like my tuition to be paid in full. I cried tears of joy and graduated from the College of Biblical Studies as a scholarship recipient. I know my journey isn't over yet and finishing this book only sparked my desire to continue walking towards the goal. I loved it from beginning to end. Thank you Anita for being led by God to bless women all over the world. Be blessed today and always.

Anita captured emotions, spirit, and faith journeys that all women face and gave practical advice on how we as women of faith can face them. It is hard as a woman to separate yourself from the journey of the mothers and women that went before you. As you grow, you deal with your own sadness, anger, and frustration. However, often we also take on the sadness, anger and frustration of the women who shaped us. It takes strength to heal those places and break free so God can shape the story He made just for us - not for the other women He has called. One of my favorite lines from the book is "[m]y sufferings shaped my calling." I am glad that this book has helped me to heal with practical steps, authentic stories, and genuine revelations of how Christ has already redeemed us for His work. Anita's transparency and candor is inspiring and her story is truly a blessing.

Once I started reading Anita's book I couldn't put it down. This is a true story of how God uses tragedy to His glory. As you read, you'll see a little girl desperately trying to help her family survive. As she grows up she finds love, suffers great loss, and finally loses all hope.
